Shell Development company Postgraduate Scholarships for Nigerians 2013
The objective of this Shell Development company Postgraduate Scholarships for Nigerians 2013 is to give students the opportunity to qualify the three states of the Niger Delta to continue their studies in courses that relate to the oil and gas industry.
During the three years of the Shell Development company Postgraduate Scholarships for Nigerians 2013 , 30 students have benefited from the opportunity to study in renowned institutions.
For the school year beginning in September 2013, the SPDC will award up to ten scholarships a year for postgraduate studies in partnership with three universities internationally recognized in the United Kingdom (UK) – Imperial College London, University College London and the University of Leeds.

ELIGIBILITY for the Shell Development company Postgraduate Scholarships for Nigerians 2013
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
display intellectual ability and leadership potential
meet the language requirements of the University (usually at least 6.5 in IELTS)
be aged 21 to 28 years
be an indigene of Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa states (documentary evidence that will be required)
currently reside in Nigeria source: www.scholarshipforafricans.com
intend to return and take up permanent residence in Nigeria after completion of the curriculum
have a university degree of at least an equivalent level to a UK upper second class (Honours)
have not previously studied in the UK or any other developed country
APPLICATION PROCESS for the Shell Development company Postgraduate Scholarships for Nigerians 2013
Submit an application in one of three universities all over qualification
Application forms for scholarships will be available ONLY by participating universities, following an offer of admission
Process the application and universities select candidates for interview before being considered for the final selection
Application forms must be received scholarships to universities participating in later February 15, 2013.
The scholarship will cover tuition fees, one return ticket from Nigeria to the United Kingdom and a contribution to living expenses only *.
