UK Undergraduate/Postgraduate scholarships 2013 for Africans and International Students

The University of Bristol is pleased to announce ten UK Undergraduate/Postgraduate scholarships 2013 for Africans and International Students International Office for new international students
• Five scholarships of £ 8,500 each will be available for future undergraduate students for 2013 entry.
It is divided as follows: € 3,000 during the first year, £ 3,000 in the second year and £ 2,500 in the third year. No prizes will be made for subsequent years.
• Five scholarships of £ 8,500 each will be available for future graduate students in 2013 entry.
Who can apply?
Eligible students for the UK Undergraduate/Postgraduate scholarships 2013 for Africans and International Students:
• All applicants must be classified as foreign students.for a fee.
• All applicants must already hold an offer of a place on a full-time program undergraduate or master’s degree at the University of Bristol.
• Candidates may be from any discipline.
• The sponsored students and students who receive another scholarship / award of more than £ 3,000 are not eligible.
• Current University of Bristol students are not eligible.
• Applicants must be a permanent resident or a citizen of a country in one of the following areas:
o Africa
o The Americas
o Australasia
o Central Asia (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Uzbekistan)
o Indian Subcontinent
o Middle East
o North-East Asia (Japan, Korea)
o South-East Asia (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam)
How to Apply for the UK Undergraduate/Postgraduate scholarships 2013 for Africans and International Students
All candidates must apply online at http://www.survey.bris.ac.uk/acreg/intsch13.
Candidates are required to submit a brief personal statement of up to 350 words explaining why they think they should be awarded a scholarship from the University of Bristol International Bureau.
Applicants may wish to include information about their academic / personal and career goals.
Deadline
The deadline for receipt of applications is: 09:00 (UK time) Friday, May 24, 2013.
No application will be accepted.
The results will be communicated to candidates by Friday, June 14, 2013.
