2013 ACCOUNTING SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
National Society of Accountants Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships for international students in the accounting discipline in an accredited college for two years or four years or university in the United States. The scholarship ranging from $ 500 – $ 2,000 is awarded for the pursuit of undergraduate degree on the basis of academic record. Each year, an average of 32 scholarships will be awarded. Interested candidates can apply until 10 March 2013.

2013 ACCOUNTING SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT Eligibility: Candidates for the National Society of Accountants Scholarship Program must be:
-Undergraduate students enrolled part-time or full-time accounting in college for two years or four years or university in the United States.
Students in an accredited two-year college may apply the sequence of notes or the first half during their second year if the transfer to a four-year institution, provided they are committed to a major in accounting for the rest of their academic career, or
-Students of an accredited four-year college may apply for the scholarship for the second year, third and fourth studies, provided they are committed to a major in accounting for the rest of their academic careers.
-A major in accounting.
-Maintaining a “B” (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or weighted average best.
-A U.S. or Canadian citizen (permanent residents are not eligible).
-High school seniors or students not enrolled in a program of undergraduate accounting are NOT eligible to receive the grants NSA Foundation.
Scholarship open to students from the following countries: foreign students with the exception of the United States and Canada can apply for a scholarship.
Scholarship Description: This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. Scholarship Management Services is the largest designer and manager of the national scholarships and tuition reimbursement for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, origin, sex, disability or national.
Number of scholarships: An average of 32 scholarships will be awarded each year, according to local and national needs for the program.
What is the coverage? If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a price ranging from $ 500 – 2000 $. The actual amount of annual stipends are determined by funds available at the time of grant.
Selection Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic record, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal circumstances or family , as well as evaluating the outside. Financial need as calculated by Scholarship Management Services must be demonstrated for Arizona candidates only.
Notification: Applicants will be notified in June.
How to Apply: Interested students must complete the fill-in application, print it and mail it along with a current, complete transcript of grades to Scholarship Management Services postmarked no later than March 10, 2013. If already enrolled in college or vocational school and technical candidates must include all transcripts from each school attended. The notes are not acceptable. Online transcripts must display student name, school name, hours of quality and credit earned for each course, and the duration of each course was taken. Applicants will receive an acknowledgment of receipt of their application. If an acknowledgment is not received within three weeks, applicants may contact the Management Services Scholarship to verify that the request was received.
Deadline for scholarship application: Deadline March 10, 2013.
