This award, offered in collaboration with the British government, is offered to students from developing Commonwealth asked to study a full-time taught postgraduate (Masters) degree at UB and who can demonstrate that they already have a profile academic and personal.
Who is eligible for this award?
Students who are residents in developing countries of the Commonwealth who have requested to study higher allowable taught (Masters) degree at UB. Eligible countries are listed on the website of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.

What are the criteria for this scholarship?
You must be able to demonstrate an exceptional academic profile (equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours degree assessed by NARIC)
You must be able to demonstrate outstanding personal profile as evidenced in your personal statement.

Financial need will be considered.
How do I apply ?
You must apply online through the electronic filing system on the website of the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Program. The deadline for applications is 16 April 2013.
When will I know if I succeeded?
Successful applicants will be notified by the end of June 2013. Although we can contact you with a decision in principle on the basis of notes predicted, your scholarship will not be formally approved until you hold an unconditional firm offer.
