Earth University Costa Rica program offers MasterCard Foundation scholarships for students from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean to study for undergraduate degrees in Agricultural Science and Natural Resource Management 2013/2014

Courses offered at the university are mainly in agricultural sciences and natural resources management

Who is eligible?

The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program seeks talented but financially disadvantaged secondary and future undergraduate students from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean who are committed to giving back to their community in Africa.

How many scholarships are available? A total of 120 scholarships will be awarded in seven years

What are the benefits?

The winners will receive their full education without charge; tuition and other expenses complete. Other benefits include:

Leadership Development
Full scholarships
Support the transition to school, university or secondary labor market
Life skills
Mentoring and counseling

How long is the sponsorship? Scholarships are available for a period of four full undergraduate.
