Scholarship for Africans 2013 Description of the Scholarship
The Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), Faculty of Environment, University of Leeds, offers a scholarship costs, provide a unique opportunity for an African student of exceptional ability, achievement and potential. The Institute offers a scholarship worth £ 7,500 rights.
The fellowship will fund 50% of costs for a student from Africa to undertake a full-time program to control SA. The award is part of the mission of ITS to improve understanding of global transportation, through the development of skills and best practices. It is expected that the fellow will work in the transport sector in their country of origin after the master’s program, to apply their new skills in an area where the identified needs.
Scholarship for Africans 2013 eligibility
To be eligible:
Applicants should hold, or expect to obtain a bachelor’s degree equivalent to a UK first class honors or upper second class.
Applicants must hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of an academic place for an ITS Masters for the school year beginning in September 2013.
Applicants must be designated as “international tax status” by the University of Leeds, and reside in an African country.
