Tullow Oil Bourse scheme for postgraduate students in the UK and Europe, 2013/14
Tullow Group and the British Council offers scholarship program to pursue postgraduate studies in universities in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France (Europe). Scholarships are awarded in the field of archeology, business journalism, engineering and technology, environment and Geo sciences, law courses and legal, logistics and supply chain, saving oil and gas and other applied sciences outside of medicine. Students Congo Brazzaville, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritania, Suriname, Uganda and Uruguay can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship is limited to citizens who live and work in the participating countries. The registration deadline is February 13, 2013.
Study Subject (s): A wide range of courses will be covered, including archeology, business journalism, engineering and technology, environment and geosciences, law and law courses, Logistics and Supply Chain, oil and gas economics and other applied sciences outside of medicine.
Course Level: This scholarship is available for further post-graduate level.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Being citizens and legally resident in a participating country;
-Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or license (second class upper or lower) or BTS (upper second class or better);
-Be resident in a participating country at the time of application;
-Have experience of working with a successful track record in their field of activity
-Not have already studied abroad or received a scholarship international
-Have a strong personality and ambition, entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and leadership;
-Demonstrate a commitment to return to their country and contribute to its future development, and
-Demonstrate a high level of competence in management, strategy and the ability to train and develop other

Scholarship Description: The Program Scholarship Tullow Group aims to build capacity in areas where host Tullow experience significant skills gaps, in particular, but not exclusively, around their oil and gas industry. The plan is aligned with the objective of Tullow to support long-term socio-economic development in the countries where it operates. Scholarships are available to those who are committed to contribute to the development of their own country. The system gives candidates the opportunity to receive a quality education with internationally recognized institutions, which can then be applied in the country of the researcher. The system is managed by the British Council, which has extensive experience in managing similar programs.

What is the coverage? The scholarship will cover:
-A monthly allowance;

-The package cost per researcher is in the region of $ 60,000 per year and the total cost of the scheme in 2012 was more than $ 6 million.
