High School Essay Competition for Africans
NewsAction in collaboration with the Pulitzer Center, calls for projects school (middle and high school) students of digital story telling contest 2013 entitled What is my future?
Students must answer the question by telling a story very address one of the following broad themes: gender, health and education.
The value of rewards
The best story will be published on NewsAction.org. The three best projects will be presented by the Pulitzer Center, and U.S. $ 200 will be donated to the charity of choice of each winner. Winners can choose from the following organizations:

This contest is open to all students in schools and colleges.
Stories can be told using any combination of graphics, audio, video, photography and text. Think the media that you use to say to an audience of peers around the world.
Articles should not exceed 2000 words. Video and audio reports should not exceed 5 minutes. A gallery of photos or graphics collection must not contain more than 10 photographs with captions.
Sample topic: sex trafficking, LGBT rights, minority rights, HIV / AIDS, family planning, access to health care, personal choices, girls’ education, literacy
