EXXONMOBIL SCHOLARSHIP FOR AFRICANS 2013
The program is funded by ExxonMobil and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Thanks to this unique opportunity to exchange, ExxonMobil aims to contribute to the Middle East and North Africa by helping to develop highly qualified individuals and culturally adept. The program also aims to build relationships with academic leaders by offering a Faculty Sponsor Program in the departments of education of students at home successfully. Some students may benefit from the opportunity to apply their skills through internships with ExxonMobil.
Who should apply?
Citizens of Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates who have a bachelor’s degree prior to beginning the program in science earth, engineering, physics, chemistry, IT, mathematics or geography. Applicants must have lived in the Middle East / North Africa for 15 years and be comfortable in Arabic.
How do I apply?
Applicants must complete an online application. The application includes: essays, 9 application pages with detailed sections, 1 page, signed letter of reference forms and presentation of academic transcripts and transcripts TOEFL and GRE.
What is included?
The winners will receive fees for the completion of a master’s degree in earth sciences. The program also includes an allowance for housing and living expenses and includes medical insurance, books and computer allowances, transportation to the United States in the creation and completion of program support, visas and academic and an intensive orientation.
