2013 Scholarships for Tanzanians
The University of Edinburgh UK opens applications Tanzanian academic authorities who wish to study at the University for a master’s degree within the Julius Nyerere Scholarship for 2013-14 school year.
The University of Edinburgh will offer three scholarships to African students from Tanzania for postgraduate Master’s degree in a subject offered by the University for the 2013-2014 fellowships session.The Julius Nyerere Masters are very competitive and the best candidates are considered. Potential applicants should note that, to date, in almost all cases, candidates for scholarships organized a first class honors degree. Candidates with an honors degree will be considered 2:01 if they can demonstrate a strong experience of work experience relevant to their prospective degree.
The value of rewards for the 2013 Scholarships for Tanzanians
Scholarships control Julius Nyerere cover full tuition fees abroad, living expenses of £ 10,000, and a return flight from Tanzania to the United Kingdom.
Scholarships have a duration of one academic year. In addition to their studies, candidates will be expected to participate in every conversation in Swahili tutorials. This will amount to no more than 20 hours per semester for each stock.
2013 Scholarships for Tanzanians Eligibility
Scholarships will be awarded to Tanzanian citizens ordinarily resident in Tanzania, who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a master’s program graduate study at the University of Edinburgh.
Candidates who already hold a degree from outside Tanzania will not be considered.
Applicants must have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and would have accepted that offer or intend to do so.
The three awards are usually based on academic merit, candidates requiring a degree equivalent to a UK Honours First Class (“first”) or Upper Division / Upper Second Class Honours (‘2: 1 ‘) degree.

Eligible applicants must complete an application for scholarships online.

Please note that you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh and have full EASE authentication.
A selection committee will meet in mid-May 2013 to select the scholarship. The scholarship winners will be announced in late May 2013.
