2013 2014 Fellowship programs For Africans

Scholarship program for indigenous OHCHR: Candidates are invited to attend the scholarship program for Aboriginal taking place from 1-4 months in different languages ​​(English, French, Spanish and Russian).

During the program, fellows will be selected based on the Office of United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Fellows will undergo interactive training on topics such as the work of OHCHR, the UN system and mechanisms etc.

At the end of the program, fellows have increased general knowledge about “United Nations system, international and human rights mechanisms, in particular those relating to indigenous peoples and be able to give training sessions within their communities / organizations on knowledge. ”

Candidates selected for the scholarship will support air travel (return economy class) of their country of residence to Geneva, modest accommodation in Geneva, basic health insurance and a monthly stipend for living expenses.

There are different dates scheduled programs in different languages ​​and there are different deadlines for submission of applications for different languages​​.
