2016 Jindal-Africa Scholarship Programme for African Students to study in India

O. P. Jindal Global University (JGU), in Delhi, India has now opened the 2016 Jindal-Africa Scholarship Program. The program was conceived as part of the university’s commitment towards fostering global cooperation and development, with a special focus on Africa. The ultimate goal of this programme is to strengthen people-to-people linkages between India and Africa.

The Jindal-Africa Scholarship Programme is intended to build human capital of African developing countries through higher education. Young Africans are encouraged and t heir capacities improved by bringing them to the JGU campus in India and training them in key areas relevant to the national priorities of their respective countries.

The scholarship program offers 50 scholarships to Africans for study. Non-Anglophone candidates will have to provide evidence to show that their English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in their studies.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes in the five schools of the university. Each school offers several scholarships for their programmes.
