2016 Systems Immunology Postdoctoral Fellowship at The University of Cape Town


The University of Cape Town is offering the Systems Immunology Postdoctoral Fellowship. The project is part of a newly funded project aimed at identifying common immune signatures and mechanisms in humans and animal models of TB.

The fellowship is open for South African applicants only. Applicants must have Ph.D. degree within the last 5 years in bioinformatics or computational biology, or Ph.D. in biological sciences with at least 3 years of relevant bioinformatics experience.

The fellowship is valued between R300,000 and R350,000 per year and will depend on relevant experience and skills. The fellowship is compliant with the rules set by the SARS and is exempt from taxation and includes no benefits. No direct service will be required in return for the fellowship.
