2016 International Graph Theory Postdoctoral Fellowship in South Africa


The University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa is proud to announce the availability of the Graph Theory Postdoctoral Fellowship at the institution. The fellowship is a two-year position as postdoctoral research fellow at the University of the Free State in South Africa with particular attention to the field of Graph Theory.

Fellowships are available for pursuing postdoctoral program with limit to the field of Graph Theory. The fellowship is valued at R250 000 (South African Rands) per annum for each of the 2 years.

The scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities. However, to qualify, applicants must already possess a PhD degree along with experience in Graph theory research, preferably in Extremal graph theory or research related to the study of distances.

The application process requires the submission of the the applicant’s CV including publications (published, accepted and submitted works), if available, a copy of the PhD thesis, copy of academic records as well as names and contact details of 2 or 3 referees.

Researchers are encouraged to apply as quickly as possible as although applications for the fellowships are valid throughout the year 2016, they will no longer be considered when the positions are filled.
