Emile Boutmy Scholarships in France for Students from Developing Countries

The Emile Boutmy Scholarships award is to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

Scholarship Application Eligibility Requirements

Students from outside of the European Union who have been offered a place to study at undergraduate or masters level are eligible.

This scholarship is awarded to students with excellent academic credentials and whose profile matches that of their chosen course.

Students’ financial situations are also taken into account when assessing their applications.

Undergraduate Scholarship Program:

The Emile Boutmy programme can take several different forms for students on the undergraduate programme.

The length of the scholarship is always dependent on scholarship recipients’ academic results; they must be ranked within the top half of students within their year group.

1. A tuition grant of 7300€ per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme, in addition to a grant to cover part of the cost of living of €5000 per year.

2. A tuition grant of 7300€ per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme.

3. A grant of €5000 per year to cover tuition fees for the three years of the undergraduate programme.

4. A grant of €3000 per year to cover tuition fees for the three years of the undergraduate programme.

Masters Scholarships: Amount and length of the scholarship

The Emile Boutmy programme can take several different forms for students at Masters level. The length of the scholarship is always dependent on scholarship recipients’ academic results; they must have ranking within the upper half of the students within their year group.

1. A grant of 10000€ per year to cover tuition fees for the two years of the Masters, in addition to a grant to cover part of the cost of living of €6000 per year.

2. A grant of €10000 per year to cover tuition fees for the two years of the Masters.

3. A grant of €5000 to cover tuition fees for the two years of the Masters.

Scholarship recipients will forfeit their right to the grant if their academic results are not with the top 50% of students within their year group at the end of the first year.

Emile Boutmy Scholarship – How to apply and deadlines:

Undergraduate applicants for the Emily Boutmy scholarship must submit their application by 4 May at the very latest.

Graduate applicants must submit their application by 2nd April.
