Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Scholarships 2019 for PhD Students from Developing Countries

The IPCC Scholarship Programme provides scholarships for PhD students from developing countries for research that advances the understanding of the scientific basis of risks of climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation.

Application Deadline: 22 March 2019.

Each scholarship award is for a maximum amount of 15,000 Euros per year for up to two years during the period 2019-2021.

Applicants should register via the application portal here: https://apps.ipcc.ch/scholarship/applicant/   The deadline is midnight CET on  22 March 2019.

Applicants will need to complete and upload an application form, their research proposal, scanned copies of national identity card and passport. A provisional budget and proof of completion of at least one year of PhD studies. Or proof of initial work as a post-doctoral researcher and supervisor’s support letter. The forms are available via the portal, once registered.
